Amazing design band build quality was so good and solid and look was so amazing
On a tight budget and having researched online for hours at a stretch for several days, consulting a pro cyclist friend and even visiting a dealer store, I finally opted for Cradiac Squad (Xplorer is the same model albeit with a different exterior look) - my first ever bicycle. The friend had vociferously recommended Decathlon and Firefox but the former's offering didn't convince / appeal to me as much while the latter was more expensive. Whether to buy such an equipment from online portal or from a local store was also something that I had put enormous thought to. What turned the decision in Cradiac's favour was the several reviews, both here and on Amazon's competitor portal, where the customers had indicated that Bicycle Store - Cradiac seller/distributor - was prompt, customer-friendly and provided good support and even couriered free replacements if the issue was genuine. Also happened to read that the company was formed by South Indian cycling enthusiasts who setup their assembly unit all the way in Punjab (bicycle manufacturing hub) - so there was this little added assurance. As for the bicycle itself, it boasted good features - entry-level mechanical dual disc brakes (better than V brakes in several parameters), 18.5 inch frame which is suitable for my 5'11" height, quick-release front tyres, suspension, MTB tyres etc. I did not opt for the geared variant because I had read it would need more maintenance and as a novice user, I actually didn't need that feature right now and would save some money on the purchase as well. So, I pressed the buy button, got a good debit card deal from Amazon in addition and waited nervously for the product to arrive. The product arrived on time, was neatly packed and came with printed instructions for the assembling - video I sourced separately by calling Cradiac customer care. I had not opted for the 499/- assembly service provided by Amazon. Instead, I assembled it myself (took me and my brother 1 hour+) and then we took it to the cycle mechanic shop nearby for the repair guy to check if everything is ok. I can tell you one thing - Always get it assembled by the local cycle shop! - the way I had assembled was not wrong - but these guys are pros at this and a lot of the assembly involves hard manual labour - tightening the nuts and bolts, checking alignment etc. - which is well beyond my knowledge / experience level. Besides, SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT and should never be compromised. I actually got the tuning done for 100 Rs in Kolkata but spending even 300 bucks is justifiable for this important activity. Also, I had ordered Cycling Helmet, Tail Lights, Horn and Front-Light accessories separately from Amazon itself in parallel. It has been 5 days since and I've been cycling for around an hour daily. And it has been an absolutely WONDERFUL experience thus far. Firstly, the bicycle not only looks premium but the frame is also sturdily built and the 29T MTB tyres are imposing / has an amazing road presence - besides being easier to balance on when compared to the thin city bicycle tires. Secondly, the pedals is powerful - I thought I'd get tired driving a Single Speed Cycle but even after an hour of cycling and roaming around the neighborhood and beyond, I don't feel tired at all and am able to cover sizeable distance/kms (I am not a fit person either). The seat is also comfortable when positioned flat. (I should emphasize that most manufacturers in India only build the bicycle frame - all the other accessories are sourced and assembled from other component manufacturers - the same applies to Cradiac. Incidentally, my friend had told me that Cradiac's frame is very good - and so I wondered that that's the only thing that really matters really). Also, while my product was being transported, I remember receiving calls from Cradiac / Bicycle Store twice - and they had sought info on my height, clarified my doubts, and intimated about delivery timeline etc. So all in all, it was a smooth buying experience as well. One thing which in hindsight I feel I could have done was to have the delivery address as the location of the bicycle mechanic itself - so that the product could have been directly delivered to him and he can assemble it in quick time. The braking system is good, suspension is good too (kolkata roads are dotted with potholes and speed breakers and I haven't been inconvenienced by it). The Cycle is heavy - but that's not an inconvenience really either - because once you start riding it, the weight is irrelevant / one does not feel it. However, because it is a large frame, maneuvering it in narrow lanes, crowded / high traffic areas could pose a challenge - I hope to adjust and train myself well before venturing in such areas. As for the tyres refuelling - the mechanic indicated that I should take the cycle to a 2-Wheeler shop - they have the proper pump and nozzles for this activity - the tyres are really fat / large sized. As for the parts in case of any future issues, Bicycle Store assured me of support - they'll quote for the components and courier it to my place - satisfactory I'd say... besides, I can even source it from the mechanic itself. Overall, It has been great riding it thus far. Hope it continues to be a good experience. I am happy with the purchase - the cycle looks much premium and sturdier than similar or even higher priced variants from the traditional age-old manufacturers. The mechanic even asked me - 'how much did you pay for this. above 10,000 Rs?', When I told him my landed price, he was quite impressed. Fingers Crossed for the Future. Bicycling is actually a fun activity and I'd recommend it to others too

The Cradiac Gunner Pro Max bicycle was delivered in a nice box packing. The cycle was 95% factory assembled and only handlebar and pedals have to be fitted, for which instruction page gives all procedures and tools are given along with the box. Packing is Excellent. Brand new quality. I had a small ride and am fully satisfied with the product. I am yet to go for a long ride and will post that experience, too. I have done a 100km ride and found this cycle very good quality.

This is best value for money bike in 20k price bracket. Shimano altus, shimano chainwheel, zoom suspension, adjustable handlebar, clipon wheels, alloy body and with all needed accessories. This is complete package. I love the blue color of it, its a class apart in my morning bike ride, people notice it. The customer support is also very helpful which may not be with other brands. If you are looking for a hybrid bike under 20k, go with this indian brand.

Personal opinion: If delivered right this is one if not the best bicycle out there under 15k. Priced just right, 29' huge tyres that make you feel higher than most bikes out there, rigid frame, dual disc with great bite, alloy rims, shimano does it's charm, pretty decent travel in front suspension, saddle offers decent comfort for at least 15-20 KMs, overall a really great package for bicycle enthusiasts for a very fair price. Had no delivery related issue. Technicians were well versed and I was able to get it tuned for speed shifting. The call management team were kind and very responsive so you can expect a great customer service. After 50KMs on varying terrains in a week of buying I feel the bicycle offers a great riding experience and is built to perform, the front suspension could have been a lil bit smoother. Thanks to Amazon for this hassle free experience.

I am writing this review after using the bike for one month. To thoroughly assess its comfort, I undertook a 45 km ride in a single day across various terrains. The Box packing is good and easy to install . Overall the bike performs well, looks, suspension, seat and gear shifting are very good but lacks confidence in braking .

I've bought Cradiac gunner pro cycle and am glad that I made this purchase. Cycle looks really great. Worth the money! It came in 95% assembled, I just had to screw the pedals and handle bar which took me around 10 to 15 minutes. I would strongly recommend this.
It's one of the the best value for money cycle.quality is good.gear shifting is very smooth.the only downside I found is the breaking system.the breaks are ok but not the best.previously they provided fly mudguard but now it's only the cycle.do not expect anything other than the cycle and it's looks like they improved the quality of seat saddle. Also the cycle looks nice.the sticker works are also nice,though the quality of the sticker work is questionable.

The best in price to value ratio. I recommend 7 gear. No problems even after 4 months of usage. Paint on the suspension may fade in long usage. Gears must be tuned. Paint on the seat rod also will come off easily while you try to push it down to adjust so we have to be careful. Very smooth ride experience. Completely lubed in open box. I just got normal tires rather than showed in picture. Both mud guards are available. Comes with four tools. It is so comfortable and best at this price range with shimano shifters. It comes with quick release on front Tyre and also seat.

This cycle is incredible value for money. Easy to setup and ride out of the box since there are no gears. Single speed riding off road is a challenge that I really enjoy. Highly recommend as a first cycle to get back into cycling. Might upgrade to the Alpha model after I outgrow this bike.

I am writing this review after using it for 2 months. First of all did not expect such a great quality bike at the price range. I got it for eleven k in Diwali super sale. The built quality is simply awesome..way beyond expectations. Decent looks.. absolutely easy to assemble..no gear adjustment required as it came pre assembled. All I had to fit was the handle, paddle that's it... It has just 7 gears in the rear ...no fiddling of combinations...easy to operate. I'm enjoying my daily rides.

The bike was delivered in fully assembled condition, Just you need to fit the pedals and adjust the handle bar. Bicycle tools were also given along with the bicycle. This bicycle comes with 7 Shimano Gears. After getting the bike, you need to visit nearest bike shop for the first time gear adjustments. Brakes are too good. On a tight budget and having researched online for hours at a stretch for several days, consulting a pro cyclist friend and even visiting a dealer store, I finally opted for Cradiac Squad (Xplorer is the same model albeit with a different exterior look) - my first ever bicycle. The friend had vociferously recommended Decathlon and Firefox but the former's offering didn't convince / appeal to me as much while the latter was more expensive. Whether to buy such an equipment from online portal or from a local store was also something that I had put enormous thought to. What turned the decision in Cradiac's favour was the several reviews, both here and on Amazon's competitor portal, where the customers had indicated that Bicycle Store - Cradiac seller/distributor - was prompt, customer-friendly and provided good support and even couriered free replacements if the issue was genuine. Also happened to read that the company was formed by South Indian cycling enthusiasts who setup their assembly unit all the way in Punjab (bicycle manufacturing hub) - so there was this little added assurance. As for the bicycle itself, it boasted good features - entry-level mechanical dual disc brakes (better than V brakes in several parameters), 18.5 inch frame which is suitable for my 5'11" height, quick-release front tyres, suspension, MTB tyres etc. I did not opt for the geared variant because I had read it would need more maintenance and as a novice user, I actually didn't need that feature right now and would save some money on the purchase as well. So, I pressed the buy button, got a good debit card deal from Amazon in addition and waited nervously for the product to arrive. The product arrived on time, was neatly packed and came with printed instructions for the assembling - video I sourced separately by calling Cradiac customer care. I had not opted for the 499/- assembly service provided by Amazon. Instead, I assembled it myself (took me and my brother 1 hour+) and then we took it to the cycle mechanic shop nearby for the repair guy to check if everything is ok. I can tell you one thing - Always get it assembled by the local cycle shop! - the way I had assembled was not wrong - but these guys are pros at this and a lot of the assembly involves hard manual labour - tightening the nuts and bolts, checking alignment etc. - which is well beyond my knowledge / experience level. Besides, SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT and should never be compromised. I actually got the tuning done for 100 Rs in Kolkata but spending even 300 bucks is justifiable for this important activity. Also, I had ordered Cycling Helmet, Tail Lights, Horn and Front-Light accessories separately from Amazon itself in parallel. It has been 5 days since and I've been cycling for around an hour daily. And it has been an absolutely WONDERFUL experience thus far. Firstly, the bicycle not only looks premium but the frame is also sturdily built and the 29T MTB tyres are imposing / has an amazing road presence - besides being easier to balance on when compared to the thin city bicycle tires. Secondly, the pedals is powerful - I thought I'd get tired driving a Single Speed Cycle but even after an hour of cycling and roaming around the neighborhood and beyond, I don't feel tired at all and am able to cover sizeable distance/kms (I am not a fit person either). The seat is also comfortable when positioned flat. (I should emphasize that most manufacturers in India only build the bicycle frame - all the other accessories are sourced and assembled from other component manufacturers - the same applies to Cradiac. Incidentally, my friend had told me that Cradiac's frame is very good - and so I wondered that that's the only thing that really matters really). Also, while my product was being transported, I remember receiving calls from Cradiac / Bicycle Store twice - and they had sought info on my height, clarified my doubts, and intimated about delivery timeline etc. So all in all, it was a smooth buying experience as well. One thing which in hindsight I feel I could have done was to have the delivery address as the location of the bicycle mechanic itself - so that the product could have been directly delivered to him and he can assemble it in quick time. The braking system is good, suspension is good too (kolkata roads are dotted with potholes and speed breakers and I haven't been inconvenienced by it). The Cycle is heavy - but that's not an inconvenience really either - because once you start riding it, the weight is irrelevant / one does not feel it. However, because it is a large frame, maneuvering it in narrow lanes, crowded / high traffic areas could pose a challenge - I hope to adjust and train myself well before venturing in such areas. As for the tyres refuelling - the mechanic indicated that I should take the cycle to a 2-Wheeler shop - they have the proper pump and nozzles for this activity - the tyres are really fat / large sized. As for the parts in case of any future issues, Bicycle Store assured me of support - they'll quote for the components and courier it to my place - satisfactory I'd say... besides, I can even source it from the mechanic itself. Overall, It has been great riding it thus far. Hope it continues to be a good experience. I am happy with the purchase - the cycle looks much premium and sturdier than similar or even higher priced variants from the traditional age-old manufacturers. The mechanic even asked me - 'how much did you pay for this. above 10,000 Rs?', When I told him my landed price, he was quite impressed. Fingers Crossed for the Future. Bicycling is actually a fun activity and I'd recommend it to others too.

I have a firefox fire storm. A montra back beat and used to ride a firefox nuke as well. This one is at par with montra back beat. It is way cheaper that all of those but has all the the same or better parts. I have been cycling for many years now and highu recommend this one.
After 2 months of cycling, Its light weight and looks charming. Tyres being in less breadth, makes the ride smooth and fast. Its really fast, no need for geared version if you are buying it for physical exercising. Both the wheels are fitted with disc brakes, so braking is reliable. Responsive in case of emergency also. Being double rimmed wheels, good for both maintenance and durability. Cons, Plastic bell, not having cycle fittings like headlamb, big danger lights is making it for riding the cycle in busy roads. Though, we buy and fit them separately, i would expect then to be included as a package. The seat height could have been little lower, considering average indian height. Its comfortable only for people who are 5.7 ft height. People whose height is 5.6 ft could barely manage to touch the ground being seated.

Cradiac Squad 21 gear cycle Self installation easily done in 20 minutes. Shimano gears are very smooth and working fine. The blue and pink frame colour combination is too attractive. Also tyre size 29 by 2.40 has very good road grip. I am Cycling around 20 to 25 km daily and Shimano 21 gears are very smooth and this cycle is very comfortable for my height of 6 feet. The cycle seat is also very comfortable and no extra cushioning is required. Go for this cycle without any doubt if u are looking for a 21 gear cycle with tyre size 29T. Overall a 5 star cycle.
